U10 Boys Super Sonics,
Caradoc Community Shield event participation ,

Attention all Parents,

Please see below message from the Board

“The Strathroy – Caradoc Minor Soccer Association and the Del-Ko-Brydge Soccer Club are working together this June for a good cause.  The Caradoc Community Shield will be an event where each registered Team’s Players, U10 – U18, will supply one (1) canned good to support a local charity/food bank in the community.  The cost for Referee's will be absorbed by the two Clubs.

Each Club will enter in teams to play against each other, and at the end of the day the club with the most wins will choose a Charity to donate towards and be declared the Winner. (i.e. DKB U10 Boys vs SMSA U10 Boys)

This event is for bragging rights only and will allow our Coaches, Referee’s, Teams, and Fans the opportunity to give back to the community and have some fun playing the game we all love.We are looking for all of our U10 – U18 teams to participate.  Games will start approx. at 9am on Saturday, June 6th, 2015 and run until 5pm.  As it stands all teams are guaranteed one game, possibly more depending on how many teams are registered as well as a penalty shot competition at the end of each game.  Normal SMSA House League rules would apply for U10 – U12 teams (playing on a ¾ pitch) and U14 – U18 would follow the rules set out by the West London Soccer League.  Games would range from 30 – 35 min halves.  Point system would be used for all games.  Teams would be encouraged to help support each other and on the entire club.  If you cannot get your team to commit, but have players that are interested please let us know as we may have an opportunity to place them on a different team in the division. We are requesting if you can confirm your registration by Sunday, May 24th, 2015 that would be great as Del-Ko-Brydge is doing the same.  Once we know for sure, the schedules will be developed and we will release them as fast as we can.  If you have any parents or students looking for volunteer hours please let us know as well as we are always looking for help.”

Please let us know if you are interested in participating  in this event,

We will be sending out an email and if everyone can reply by Sunday we can pass on our numbers to the league,
