Parking & Respecting the Pitch
As we enthusiastically begin this year’s SUFC Soccer program with the theme of our guiding principles of being the leader in Soccer Development in our Community by providing above average programming, as determined by its membership, in the areas of player, coach and referee advancement, we want to remind everyone of some key points when it comes to the use of all the Soccer Complex’s in our Community.  All these principals encompass one major theme of RESPECT. SUFC believes that all our members will agree as to the importance of this fine quality and our principals.

Please remember to respect the Soccer Complex and the adjacent Homes and Families that surround it. This year, the SUFC Board of Directors received some complaints of coaches, fans, parents and players playing in people’s back yards, parking in unapproved areas, littering in the park, public urination, smoking near the pitch, as well as a variety of other activities that are inappropriate and not very respectful.

We understand that this note does not apply to all our members; however, we did want to ensure that the same message was received by all.   Strathroy United FC is a nonprofit organization, who falls under the guidelines of the Community of Strathroy - Caradoc. We do not own the Soccer Complexes where we practice and play, however we are permitted to use it and jointly operate it with other sports clubs in our community.

It is our Community so let us please respect it. Please ensure that we all park in the designated areas, as well as ensure that we respect the grounds accordingly.  Any Vehicles that fail to park in designated areas may result in fines that are out of our control.

SUFC encourages healthy lifestyles, fosters independence and inclusion, and promotes personal empowerment. We continue to work with our community partners on making improvements to The Cuddy Complex, The Gemini Sportsplex, and the Henk Van Dyk Soccer Complex, and we appreciate the input of all our members.

Thank you in advance for your cooperation, and we hope you continue to have a great season.

Yours in Soccer,

The Board of Directors
