A Message from the President of the Strathroy - Caradoc Minor Soccer Association

Welcome everyone to our 2015 Strathroy Minor Soccer Season.

The Strathroy – Caradoc Minor Soccer Association was the dream of three devoted soccer enthusiasts who started the organization in a booth at the local Gardenia Restaurant in 1961, with just two boy’s teams.

Over the years, the SMSA has created many valuable programs and concepts. Most notably the SMSA revolutionized youth sports with its “EVERYONE PLAYS” and “BALANCED TEAMS” philosophies. In the SMSA, each child who registers is guaranteed to play at least half of every game. To help create evenly matched games, all

SMSA players are placed on balanced teams each year. These decisions are made based on each player’s skill level and the overall ability of the team.

The SMSA has governed, fostered, and promoted the game of soccer in Strathroy and area since 1961. Looking back over the course of those years, the SMSA realized that the lifeblood of our organization has been, and remains, the support received from local businesses and industries, whom without, we could not exist. Your effort to make a difference towards our leaders of tomorrow is greatly appreciated.

The Strathroy-Caradoc Minor Soccer Association feels that our organization is a Family Affair.

On behalf of the Strathroy-Caradoc Minor Soccer Association Board Of Directors welcome to the family.
