Strathroy-Caradoc - Parks & Recreation Plan Seeks Public Input‏
Submitted By Admin on Monday, February 9, 2015
The Municipality of Strathroy-Caradoc is currently doing a Master Plan that will direct and guide the future of parks and recreation in the municipality over the next twelve years.

This Master Plan will help determine future needs, priorities, and strategies related to parks and recreation facilities and services. Community input is a vital part of an effective planning process.

Residents are invited to provide their feedback through participation in a series of community workshops and an online survey. The information collected will be considered by the consultants who are preparing the Parks and Recreation Master Plan for the Municipality, and the plan will include recommendations on future parks and recreation services across the community.

Community workshops will be held on the following dates:

Feb 17, 2015 – 7:00pm, Gemini Sportsplex, 667 Adair Blvd, Strathroy (Wescast Room)

Feb 18, 2015 – 7:00pm, Caradoc Community Centre, 565 Lions Park Drive, Mount Brydges

To provide feedback via the online survey, follow this link.

It is anticipated that the Master Plan will be completed by June of this year, and will be made available on the Parks & Recreation page of the municipal website for public viewing.

Please take the time to perform the online survey and visit one of the Community Workshops.

Yours in Soccer,

The Strathroy - Caradoc Board of Directors
