Submitted By Admin on Monday, July 17, 2017
During the weekend of July 7th & 8th the SUFC U15 Girls Rep Lazers, Sponsored by Sansin, participated in qualifying for the 2017 Ontario Cup.  They travelled to Bradford, Ontario to compete against Mississauga Dixie Athletics, Woodbridge, and Bradford Soccer Clubs.  With the top two teams moving on the pressure was on and the Girls did not fail to represent Strathroy United FC proud with strong results and help them progress in this years tournament.

Game One was a 2-2 draw vs Mississauga, and Game Two was 1-0 Win against Woodbridge.  Game three did not fail to disappoint and with their backs up against the wall, they defeated the home town club from Bradford 1-0.  This moved them on to Group Play in St Catharines on the weekend of July 28-29th where they will face Chatham, King City, and North Toronto.

We wish them all of the best as they continue their quest to be Ontario Cup Champions in 2017.
