Submitted By Admin on Tuesday, December 18, 2018
At our 2018 Annual General Meeting the SUFC Board of Directors passed a motion to implement a new fee with regards to our Rep Players.

An additional cost of $100.00 will be passed on to Rep Players, at all levels U8 – U18, in order to implement the following:

Player Dress Code Requirements (60%) – Each Rep Team Player will receive two (2) Custom Fitted Uniforms (Kits) Which will include a Home and Away Shirt, Shorts, and Socks.  In addition, Players U8 – U18 Players will receive Player Track Suits.  For Players at any level wishing to purchase back packs, track suits or other Team Wear they can be done so online or at the Player Fitting to be held in Early January.  The custom sized uniforms and other items will be the players to keep at the end of the season.

Winter Conditioning (20%) – A Portion of each Rep Fee will also to towards the cost of Winter Conditioning / Gym Times & Equipment.  Every Rep Team within our Club has been given the opportunity to take advantage of the available Gym Time and Training that takes place during the winter.

Rep Festival / Tournament (20%) – In 2019 we are proud to announce that we will be hosting an annual SUFC Festival / Tournament for all our Rep Teams, look for more information to come out in Early January.  Tentative date will be Early to Mid June.

At SUFC we are always thinking about the future and how we can best prepare the next generation of members to take the lead every day. Our Movement has such a rich history of forward thinking and innovation—and now in our 58th year, we will continue to be the leader in Soccer Development in our Community by providing above average programming, as determined by its membership, in the areas of player, coach and referee advancement. As the largest community-based club in Strathroy - Caradoc we continue to evolve our programs and implement new technologies and ways of teaching the beautiful game to enhance the experience for our members.

To ensure we have the resources to support this work, as well as the staff to provide the programming to our members, the Club has made a decision to provide a decrease in fees of $100.00 to any player in any program, Rep or Local League, aged 13 – 18 that agrees to assist with our U3 – U6 Saturday Morning program or our U8 Weekday program as we focus on developing these age groups.  This discount will be payed out at the end of the season.  As well for any player within our Adult programs will have the ability to have 100% of their registration costs refunded at the end of the year for Coaching any team (House, Local, or Rep) within the Club.  All other registration fees will remain the same as the 2018 Soccer Season.

We understand that this fee increase will impact many families, so we encourage our members to reach out to the club if they require assistance or are interested in the Coaching Program.

With the extra funding, we will be able to sustain and develop exceptional programs, implement our Coaches Mentorship Program for all our teams and better engage our 900 members. For more information about how this adjustment to our membership dues may affect you, please email our club at [email protected]

Thank you for your continued support of our club and your investment in our mission.

Yours in Soccer,

The Executive Board
