U8 Boys and Girls Local League Program Update
Submitted By Chris Soares on Tuesday, March 23, 2021
The following Programs are currently sitting with a good number of players for multiple teams however we have been struggling to find Coaches.  For this reason, we will be running our U8 Boys and U8 Girls House / Local League Programs on Saturday Mornings in conjunction with our First Touch Program.

Dear Strathroy United FC Member,

This is very unfortunate.  The Strathroy United FC Technical Committee is understanding that it may be difficult for our members to volunteer their time, however without volunteers we continue to struggle to operate our programs and will rely on assistance from the Technical Group as well as other Volunteers that wish to help out.

In 2019 we decided as a Board to compensate our Coaches and Managers, even though it was difficult decision it was one to be made to help out with getting more Coaches into our program.  Over the years we have provided full training by the club, paid for Coaches Clinics as well as compensated Coaches for their time, however we continue to struggle as a Board and a Technical Group to find people to come out and share in their love of the game with the members of programs through Coaching.

If you are interested in Coaching or Assisting, please email [email protected] as soon as possible so we can get your information and add you to our Coaches Database.

We will be continuing to meet throughout the 2021 Season for us to move into a better position for the 2022 season and will update our members accordingly.

Yours in Soccer,

Jason Kaspersma

Technical Director

Strathroy United FC
