SUFC GOALKEEPER TRAINING
Submitted By Technical Director on Sat 02 26, 22
Keeper training is really about honing your skills, getting the best technical support and building a superior toolkit that will stay with you for your entire career. Goalkeeping is a specialized individual sport within a team sport. To be among the best, you need a program tailored to the specific skill requirements of a Goalkeeper.

Strathroy United FC, with Coach Anicet, Coach Caylin & Coach Paulo will be running free Keeper Sessions in preparation for the outdoor season.  Regardless of experience or level, we want to promote and to help train and re-train Keepers within our Program for years to come.

Our training regimen is based on the 4 pillars of Physical, Technical, Tactical and Mental Development. We aim to improve the abilities and skills of our athletes and to develop a well-rounded athlete ready for the pressures of playing this unique position. A program that builds confidence as well as technique. You'll learn the fundamentals of expert goalkeeping directly from trained coaches and former Goalkeepers with years of experience.

We encourage all our members to take advantage of this program.  Make an investment that will last a lifetime. Become a defensive MVP with our small group sessions in a first-class training environment for aspiring Goalkeepers. Coaches are encouraged, especially at our younger age groups, to get as many players as possible out as you never want to be left without a Keeper. We are confident that your players will get out as much as they put in.

To sign up please register here - SUFC Keeper Training

The first sessions will be held on Fridays at SDCI from 6:30-7:30pm - Fri, Mar 11, 2022 and Fri, Mar 25, 2022

More information on Outdoor Sessions will follow.
