Program Details
Our First Touch Program and our U4-U6 Development Program have been running for over 7 years and have helped develop many Coaches, Players, Referees and Volunteers within our Club. The Program runs weekly on Saturday Mornings throughout the Spring & Summer, avoiding the long weekends. U3 First Touch will finish by July with U4-U6 continuing until the middle of August.

Through our sponsors each participant will receive a full kit (uniform) which includes Socks, Shorts & Jersey. Our primary Club colours are Orange & Grey, with Black Socks and Shorts.
We encourage, but do not require, that all participants wear shin pads and proper soccer shoes to help when they are playing as well as avoid any potential injuries. There are lots of options locally to shop for your soccer shoes (boots) and they make a great spring Easter gift. Another very important element is to make sure that your soccer player is properly hydrated before and during their practice session, so please have them bring a water bottle marked with their name.
The program will run primarily on our Stadium Field at the Henk Van Dyk Soccer Complex on York Street. There are benches for spectators or you can bring a lawn chair if you choose. No chairs or spectators are permitted on the field during the session unless you are actively participating with your child in the First Touch Program.
Our Coaches are Volunteers that have grown up with our Soccer Program over the years and many are either still playing at the youth level or in our adult program. They are giving up their time to help develop your child and have been trained to do so. As the program progresses, we will move into modified games and scrimmages to build the fundamentals that your soccer player has learned throughout the season.
Thank you and be on the lookout for more information that may come out over the next couple of weeks.
Yours in Soccer,
