Practice Format - Each team will have one designated 60-minute practice per week in addition to games focusing on the fundamentals of soccer. Practices will take place at Creekside on the mini fields at the back from 6:30-7:30pm and fields will be shared weekly with another team. Your team's practice day will be communicated to you by your Coach.
Game Days – Thursday’s will be your scheduled Game days and have been scheduled at Creekside (small fields at the back) from 6:30pm to 7:30pm; it is a four-team division where teams will rotate playing against each other.
Game Format - Games will be two 25-minute halves, with a small break in-between. In accordance with Canada Soccer and Ontario Soccer there will be no scores, or standings recorded, and we will be using game leaders/officials and coaches to help manage the game. Our U8 Division will be about promoting basic soccer skills as well as enjoyment in a recreational environment.
Team Uniforms - Uniforms will hopefully be handed out at your first practice. We are waiting for equipment to come in from our Uniform Supplier who, like everyone else, has experienced delays over the last year.
We want to thank all of the Volunteer Coaches, as well as the Players and Parents for their time in attending and helping with the sorting.
Looking forward to a great season,
