Position Reports to: Technical Committee
Position Overview:
Strathroy United FC is seeking a highly motivated passionate soccer leader to facilitate training sessions in accordance with Ontario Soccer Long Term Player Development principles.
This person will lead U8 boys/girls and volunteer coaches through training sessions, coordinating games and identification of players and coaches for future opportunities.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Schedule and coordinate training sessions per OS Long term player development principles.
2. Work with volunteer coaches.
3. Identification of players and coaches to recommend appropriate talent pathway stream.
4. Communicate with Technical committee and provide reports at monthly meeting.
5. Uphold the club’s policies and procedures.
6. Conduct player assessments.
Educational Requirements and Skills:
1. University degree / College diploma. (Preferred)
2. Ontario Soccer Learn to Train certification.
3. Ontario Soccer Respect in Soccer.
4. Excellent leadership, communication and facilitation skills.
5. Past coaching experience at grass roots level.
Salary and/or Compensation: Hourly rate- $30.00/hr.
