General Rules
All standard LYS U10 rules apply as per rules set out at the start of the season
(see attached)
No retreat line
Games start promptly at the top of each hour
Games are 2 x 20 min halves
Halftime is 5 mins
Games to end at 45 mins of each hour under normal circumstances
15 min break to the start of next games as some may play back to back games
Referee report scores to tournament central table after each game
Official scorekeeping is kept at tournament central
Schedule / results and standings will be on display for participants at tournament central
BOYS
7 teams participating
Each team is allotted 2 games
Standings are based on points (3 - win / 1 - draw / 0 - loss)
4 top teams reach semi finals
Tie-breakers are based on:
Total Points
Goal Against (Lower is better)
Head to Head (if applicable)
Coin Toss
GIRLS
5 teams participating
Double knockout tournament (***you must lose twice to be eliminated***)
In event of a tie
5 mins extra time will be played
3 penalty shootout
Sudden Death penalty thereafter
