Tournament Rules:
All U4 – U12 Strathroy Soccer House League Rules Apply except where noted below, the Game formats will be as follows:
U4 - U8 Divisions - please note that start times on Friday Night are 6:30pm

Length: four (4) - 11 minute Quarters, three (3) minutes to warm-up, two (2) minute breaks between quarters, one (1) 5 minute half time

Rules: Regular Season Rules apply, (i.e. Retreat Line, Kick-in from Side Lines, etc.)

Start times on Friday Night are 6:30pm

U4 - U6 please note the start times on Saturday are quarter past the hour. (ie 9:15, 10:15, 11:15, etc.
Scores & standings will not be recorded for the above divisions.
U10 - U12 - please note the start times on Friday Night are 6:30pm

Length: two (2) - 22 minute halves, three (3) minutes to warm-up, & one (1) 5 minute half time

Rules: Regular Season Rules apply, with the modified time format as listed.

Coaches, please ensure that the game starts on time and teams are ready to play

Top Two Teams Advance from the Division, not the top team in a group.

There will be no extra time played in Round Robin play, in the event of a tie the following format will be used:

Points - Total number of points for all games played

Wins - Total number of wins for all games played

Win Percentage - Winning % for all games played

Least Tallies Against - Total scores against in all games played
Scores & standings will be recorded for the above divisions.
Extra Time: Finals
Two (2) 5 min Extra Time halves will be used to decide the winner. In the event the game is still tied after both halves have been played, then 5 shooters will be used for Penalty Kicks. The list of the 5 shooters must be presented to the Referee prior to the start of the Penalty Kicks and no spectators, coaches or keepers will be able to be near the Goal.
Referees & Coaches - There will be no abuse of the referees tolerated, verbal or otherwise. Any indication of such behavior by a coach or parent will result in review by the tournament committee & possible removal from the tournament site. No verbal abuse of any player, coach or referee will be tolerated. Rough Play, Pushing, Fouls, etc. will not be tolerated and we expect all of our Players, Coaches, Parents, Fans, & Officials to RESPECT the rules of the game accordingly and each other. Fans & Coaches, please keep all comments (cheering) positive.
Any disputes will be discussed to the board and the tournament volunteers after the game. At no time should a Coach approach an Official to discuss a decision they have made after or during a game.
